The African Union (AU) is offering attractive chances for anyone who want to engage as organisation interns. The only people who can take advantage of this chance are Africans.
Context:
Given the crucial role the AfCFTA will play in helping the continent advance towards achieving its development agenda, it has been deemed necessary to set up a platform for a number of African students to be introduced to the work of the AfCFTA through an internship program.

The internship program is created to attract highly qualified and driven students from a variety of backgrounds into the Secretariat to work on initiatives connected to the Strategic Orientations of the Secretariat and to support the Secretariat’s internal business operations. Giving selected applicants the chance to develop their technical and analytical abilities in a global setting is its key objective.
The program’s main educational objective is to develop participants’ (interns’) early professional and personal skills while also providing early exposure to the AfCFTA’s operations. Participants will have the opportunity to learn in a multi-cultural setting while getting exposure to and some practical experience in a variety of relevant subjects.
