The MA Fellowship Programme in the USA at Mercatus Centre 2024

The MA Fellowship Programme 2024 at the Mercatus Centre is now accepting applications. The duration of the Mercatus MA Fellowship is two years. The MA Fellowship Programme of the Mercatus Centre is open to George Mason University students earning a master’s degree in economics. Students should apply for this US fellowship if they want to learn advanced applied economics in order to get ready for a career in public policy. There is a full-time, competitive foreign fellowship programme in the United States. Applying for this fully funded fellowship programme is therefore advised if you are interested in a career in public policy.

Qualifications for the 2024 USA MA Fellowship Programme offered by the Mercatus Centre:

• The MA Fellowship Programme offered by the Mercatus Centre is open to students who are enrolled in or intend to enrol in George Mason University’s master of economics programme.
• Worldwide international students are welcome to apply.
• Throughout their studies, the MA fellows are required to maintain a CGPA of 3.5 or above.
• Throughout the year, fellows must be able to dedicate roughly 20 hours per week to working with faculty mentors and staff at Mercatus Centre.
• The monthly Theory to Practice Readings Group, Career Development Workshop, and Job Placement are required of fellows.

The Mercatus Center’s MA Fellowship Programme 2024 offers the following advantages:

• The US fellowship programme offers up to $80,000 in total awards over a two-year period.
• The entire reward will be used to pay the stipend.
• The entire tuition cost will also be covered.
  Along with the prize money, the Mercatus academics and staff will receive practical experience conducting and disseminating research on pertinent policy issues.

• 10-page writing sample (to demonstrate your research skills)
