South African Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme

For the academic year 2024, applications are now being accepted for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme at the University of the Western Cape. Youth from South Africa and other African continents who are academically gifted and outstanding are supported by the UWC Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme. In 2024, the University of the Western Cape will offer fully financed undergraduate and graduate scholarships under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme. You should submit an application for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme 2024 if you are a bright student from South Africa or the African continent who wants to study there for nothing.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program’s eligibility requirements are:

Undergraduates:

• Candidates must be 26 years old at the time of application.
• The minimal entrance requirements for the University must be met by applicants.
• Application for academic admission to the University in 2024 is required of all applicants.
• Candidates must also be prepared to begin full-time undergraduate education in January 2024.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate how societal and economic hurdles prevent them from pursuing higher education.

Postgraduate:

• Applicants cannot be more than 30 years old at the time of application.
• The minimal entrance requirements for the University must be met by applicants.
• Application for academic admission to the University in 2024 is required of all applicants.
• In order to begin full-time master’s studies in January 2024, applicants must be prepared.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate how societal and economic hurdles prevent them from pursuing higher education.
• This UWC scholarship 2024 is not open to applicants who plan to sign up for a second master’s degree.
